How the People of Twitter Celebrate #JY1K

Jerry York

As we all know by now, the legendary Jerry York has become the first head coach in the history of college hockey to win 1,000 games in his career. Naturally, of course, it came with an 8-0 beatdown of UMass, something York has done his whole career. BC has now beaten UMass by a combined total of 15-0, and York is a whopping 52-12-7 in his career against the Minutemen. (Sorry UMass, Amherst was lovely. Shoutout to Antonio’s Pizza, 10 out of 10 would recommend.)

With that in mind, let’s take a look at how all of York’s fans, friends, and some company Twitter accounts celebrated his win on a cold Massachusetts evening.
