BC Ranks No. 10 on List of 50 Best Colleges for Millennials

Boston College was ranked No. 10 in the list entitled “50 Best Colleges for Millennials 2017,” published by College Choice. Other Boston-area schools to make the cut include the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (No. 1), Harvard University (No. 2), and Tufts University (No. 9).

BC was ranked ahead of Georgetown University (No. 12), Boston University (No. 13), and University of California, Berkeley (No. 16).

To compile the rankings, College Choice looked at the nation’s top schools, measured by school reputation and financial prospects post-graduation. In further refining this list to tailor it to Millennials, which the website defines as people born between the 1980s and the early 2000s, College Choice selected the schools with locations in metropolitan areas that are ranked highly by Millennials.

The percentage of residents between 25-34, affordability, public transport, and career prospects are important characteristics of Millennial hot spots. According to this data, Boston, New York, Washington D.C., and San Francisco are among the best areas for young people.
