Imagine Dragons, “Shots”
Imagine Dragons has done a great job with its new single, harkening back to its indie rock roots. With its unique drumming and guitar riffs, the song is weaved together well, but does lack the punch of some other Imagine Dragons songs.
Death Cab for Cutie, “Black Sun”
This song has an older feel to it, focusing on acoustics and taking on a slower pace. Although the words are heavy with meaning, the song ultimately transitions a bit too slowly, which causes it to become a bit repetitive and boring as it progresses.
Kelly Clarkson, “Heartbeat Song”
Speaking of a blast to the past, your “Heartbeat” might just stop at first listen to this old school Clarkson single. This song isn’t anything particularly special persay, but it does give Kidz Bop some fresh material.
