Dear readers,
Reed Piercey, MCAS ’19, a candidate for Undergraduate Government of Boston College president, is one of my roommates. Objectivity is always a priority for us, and to avoid even the appearance of favoritism or biased coverage, we are taking the following steps: First, DJ Recny, the managing editor, and Heidi Dong, the A1 editor, will have final sign-off responsibilities on any article related to this year’s UGBC presidential campaign. Second, I will attend meetings for, but will not vote on, this year’s Heights UGBC candidate endorsement process.
