Jason Derulo will perform in the parking lot outside the Mods on Marathon Monday, according to an email to Boston College students on Thursday from Tom Mogan, associate vice president of student engagement and formation.
Derulo will take the stage at 10 a.m. on April 18. The performance is part of a new series of activities to celebrate the historic Boston Marathon, according to Mogan’s email. As marathon runners pass by BC at Mile 21, students can also partake in free breakfast, bingo, and, later in the day, a field day with contests and food trucks.
Derulo is known for his hits “Talk Dirty” and “Whatcha Say.” Most recently, Derulo has garnered millions of fans on the social media platform TikTok. He gained fame on the app by creating content for fans while quarantining due to the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to promote his music on the platform. Derulo most recently released his single “Acapulco” in September of 2021.
