Today, I want to focus on issues that concern us as students, particularly our international peers. The Trump administration is enacting a new executive order concerning these students, and I believe this raises several important questions.

Fog steams off the reservoir with a flick as I descend, snug in the anonymity of the mist. This is not our reservoir, though, not the one below the Heights. The setting is similar: gravel path, stoney coast, perhaps a few more trees, but an element of unfamiliarity lingers in the air. This is untrodden ground.

Newton mayoral candidates Mayor Ruthanne Fuller and former Councilor Amy Mah Sangiolo disagreed on the handling of the pandemic in the city, tax breaks for large businesses coming to Newton, and the institution of a diversity, equity, and inclusion officer in the city in a debate hosted by Charles River Regional Chamber President Greg Reibman on Thursday.
