Boston College men’s hockey continued its bumpy start to the season Saturday with a 4–2 loss to UMass Lowell.

After jumping out to an early 4–0 lead, Boston College women’s hockey held on to remain undefeated with a 5–2 win over Maine.

Brennan Klein was solid in net in his first collegiate start but the Eagles struggled on defense with 10 men and fell 2-0 to Louisville.

Despite jumping out to an early 1-0 lead, Boston College men’s soccer was held to a tie against Notre Dame on Friday.

BC goalie Abigail Levy made 45 saves, but the Eagles could not getting anything going on offense and were knocked out of the tourney.

UConn dominated the ice, putting up three goals in the second period, and upsetting the Boston College women’s hockey 5-1.

Alex Newhook scored with 9:55 to play in the game to give the Eagles the lead, and Matt Boldy sealed it with an empty-netter.

Barnes poked the puck past Friars goalie Sandra Abstreiter with 2:!5 to play, giving the Eagles a 2-1 victory.
