It’s been a rough week for the world. Two great men recently died, we heard Nickleback’s “Photograph” voluntarily played, and everyone is making way to big of a deal over “Taylor Swift’s” tweet. That’s okay, we’ll always have pumpkin-flavored food and beverages and conference rooms.
We’re tired of the Ignacio elevators on the weekends, standing at the football games, and uncomfortable couches. Oh, and we wish we could have been at the Head of the Charles. This weekend has been difficult for us.
When our midterm schedule has caused us to lose our faith in any good in the world, we just look out to the changing leaves and beautiful trees and wish we were outside.
It’s been an awful week. The fire alarms have disturbed our slumber two days in a row, Suffolk Downs closed, and our roommates won’t stop singing. Well, at least we can drown our misery in a weekend binge of Gilmore Girls.
Coming at you this week, we have exquisite commentary on wild self-destructive libertinism and good ol’ Uncle Joe. ‘The Onion’ would have you believe that those two are one and the same.
Yet another browbeating of the Secret Service. We threw in a criticism of youth culture for good measure.
We are not quite sure how we feel about Parents’ Weekend, but we are definitely without question against people getting engaged before graduation. It makes us very uncomfortable.
Something must be done about the bees that keeping attacking us. Also, somebody needs to tell administrators at BC not to send out so many emails. Just like the bees, we cannot escape these dreadful emails.
In this Monday’s TU/TD, we digest Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger’s divorce, critique the Secret Service, and celebrate apple juice. All in a day’s work.
It’s mostly about fire … fire and Cityside. There’s even one Thumbs Down that brings the two together (sort of).
