Boston College retained its place as the No. 31 university in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report’s annual listing of top national universities, released on Tuesday.
Panel Rules In Favor Of BC In Lawsuit Over Website Name
Over the summer, Boston College entered into arbitration over the use of the domain name bostoncollege.us. According to the decision issued by the National Arbitration Forum (NAF)—a body that resolves disputes over the use of top-level domains—BC claimed that the owner of the website violated BC’s trademark rights and used the name “Boston College” in bad faith.

BC Evaluates Sexual Assault Resources In Light of White House Report

The White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault released a report on Tuesday aimed at helping colleges and universities address, respond to, and prevent sexual assault on campus. The report includes guidelines for how these institutions can identify the climate surrounding sexual violence on their campuses, employ prevention programs, ensure that victims get the support they need, and investigate crimes.
Kalscheur Named Interim A&S, GA&S Dean
