Two weeks ago, 1,033 Boston College students received their 2024–25 study abroad placements. When considering the opportunity of studying abroad, a key factor for many of these students and their families is the financial burden.
The Board of Trustees voted to increase tuition by 2.51 percent to $60,530 for the next academic year, up from the current tuition of $59,050, according to a University release.

Boston College’s Board of Trustees has set tuition for the 2019-20 academic year at $56,780, bringing the final cost of attendance to $72,736 per year, according to a University release.

The total cost of attendance, including fees and room and board, will rise to $69,942, increasing 3.6 percent from the 2017-18 level.
With this latest increase, undergraduate cost of attendance for next year will be $67,488.
