Whether you’re spending your Spring Break jetsetting across the country or heading home for a relaxing reset, there’s nothing better than jazzing up your outfits. Personally, that’s what’s getting me through this cold weather.
If you’re looking for Spring Break outfit inspo, this guide is for you.
The Tropical Vacation
If you’re heading somewhere warm this Spring Break, you’re probably looking for swimsuits, long dresses, and cute accessories.
When it comes to combining practicality and style, I’d recommend matching sets: they’re a convenient way to look put together. This polka dot swim set from Princess Polly is perfect for a day on the sand. For a nighttime look, this sparkly knit set from Revolve would look incredible, especially with a fresh tan.
Accessories pull together any good outfit, and they don’t have to be extravagant to scream “cool girl.” My favorites right now are this raffia bucket hat and these classic gold earrings. And you can’t forget about a classy pair of sunnies, like this pair from H&M.
The Ski Trip
If your Spring Break is taking you somewhere a bit chillier, don’t worry: there’s still plenty of opportunity to make your style debut on the slopes.
This Lovers and Friends sweater will ensure you look effortlessly cool and feel comfortably cozy. A trip to the mountains also requires a classic pair of winter boots. These brown suede boots from Steve Madden are perfect with a mini skirt or a pair of wide-leg jeans.
While accessories aren’t as visible when you’re wearing multiple layers, there are still ways to incorporate them. For example, tie your outfit together with a brown belt and a suede purse.
The City Visit
Maybe your Spring Break plans include visiting a friend studying abroad in Paris or traveling to see family in the Big Apple. Either way, you need the perfect city outfit.
For starters, I’d pack a classic pair of jeans that can transition from day to night. My personal favorites are these low-rise loose jeans from Abercrombie & Fitch or these wide-leg jeans from Zara.
Next, I’d pair them with a cool top, like this Free People lace shirt or this knit tank from Reformation. Both are perfect for dinner and exploring a new city at night.
Finally, complete the outfit with a suede or leather jacket.
