BENEE might be most widely known for her TikTok hits “Supalonely” and “Glitter,” but at the Paradise Rock Club on Saturday, March 14, she showed just how deep her discography runs.
BENEE’s “Particles Tour,” which featured opener BAYLI, celebrates her most recent album, Ur an Angel I’m Just Particles, which was released in late 2025. The tour allowed BENEE to flaunt her artistic persona, showing off her colorful character and impressive vocal range.
BENEE came out around 9 p.m. and kicked off the show with “Sad Boiii” and “Cinnamon.” Both were refreshing takes on her classic indie-pop sounds and energetically readied fans for what was to come.
She followed her opening with a throwback set, which included earlier hits like “Wishful Thinking” and “Soaked,” both from her first EP, FIRE ON MARZZ.
Throughout this section of the set, BENEE frequently interacted with the crowd, even taking one audience member’s phone and videoing from the stage. Another fan shouted, “I love you BENEE,” to which she beamed and pointed back, exclaiming, “I love you too!”
Earlier in the night, the opener BAYLI played “Passenger Princess,” and “all of that,” as well as a cover of Frank Ocean’s “Super Rich Kids.” She explained how the Boston crowd was exceeding her expectations in an interview with The Heights.
“I just saw a lot of amazing baddies in the crowd singing along,” BAYLI said. “I just felt the energy … you guys were ready to party.”
BENEE seemed to agree with that sentiment, speaking about Minecraft and her New Zealand background between songs. She seemed completely comfortable on stage, as if the audience were her long-time friends.
After the brief throwback, BENEE returned to more recent tunes, introducing the crowd to catchy songs like “Doomsday” and “Demons,” while also mixing in slower tracks like “Heaven.” Mainstream listeners might not have been familiar with these songs, but the audience at the Paradise Rock Club was clearly tuned in, singing and dancing along.
When performing her hits “Glitter” and “Supalonely” towards the end of the show, BENEE received huge crowd engagement, and the multitude of voices in the small venue created a deafening sound. In a wholesome audience interaction, for Gus Dapperton’s section of “Supalonely,” BENEE handed the mic to a fan from the audience who rapped the lyrics.
Perhaps the most warming moment of the show was when BENEE finally gave in to a fan’s request for her to sing one of her throwbacks, “Evil Spider.” After ignoring the “Evil Spider” cheers for most of the show, BENEE finally exclaimed, “It’s not on the setlist!” before giving the audience member a little ad-lib of the lesser-known track. It was a treat for the fan and a rare moment in which an artist deviates from their setlist to appease the whims of the audience.
BENEE made sure to take full advantage of the Paradise Rock Club’s stage, using multiple different lighting colors and patterns—the staging was vibrant and deeply intimate. She weaved around the stage constantly, ensuring that people from all angles had a good view of her performance.
When BENEE closed out the concert with “Green Honda,” fans eagerly cheered for an encore, but this time it was to no avail. Yet there wasn’t a sense of disappointment in the room: the audience’s satisfaction couldn’t be shaken.
“BENEE slays every single night,” said BAYLI. “She’s beautiful, I love her movement, and her vocals are pristine.”
