2018 Career Fair Sees Record Attendance
The annual Boston College Career Fair, which featured 151 employers spanning a broad array of industries, attracted a record 2,100 students to Conte Forum on Sept. 13.
University Makes 68 New Faculty Hires for 2018-19 Year
Over the summer, Boston College hired 43 new faculty members, according to Vice Provost for Faculties Billy Soo. Twenty-one men and 22 women were hired, and of the entire group, 12 are AHANA+. In terms of visiting faculty, 25 new members were hired: 13 males and 12 females. Of that group, six are AHANA+.
Grammy Winner Daya to Headline Stokes Set
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) announced at halftime of today’s BC football game versus Holy Cross that Grammy Award Winning Artist Daya will headline Stokes Set on Sept. 15. Now in its third year, the fall concert will be held on the Stokes Lawn, and doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
