A “very limited amount” of additional tickets for The Chainsmokers’ Modstock concert will be available for students to purchase at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 27 through the Robsham Box Office, the Campus Activities Board (CAB) announced in an Instagram post this morning.
Tickets for the concert first went on sale on April 22 and sold out within an hour.
“We have been working with fire and safety, the City of Boston, and other campus partners to explore whether we can release additional tickets,” the CAB post reads. “We know there’s a lot of demand for the concert and are doing our best to create more opportunities for students to attend while still meeting all safety and security requirements.”
CAB declined to provide any additional information beyond what was included in the post.
When asked if information was available about the number of additional tickets that will be sold, or whether they were prohibited from disclosing those numbers, CAB did not respond.
The Chainsmokers was announced as headliners for the concert on April 16. Student ensemble Letters in June will open for the DJ duo after winning the Boston College Music Guild’s Battle of the Bands.
The concert is set to take place on Thursday, April 30, in the Mod Lot.
CAB organizes the annual Modstock concert to celebrate the last day of classes.
