Two men in Southern California were indicted on charges of fraud and conspiracy for creating an educational consulting company that “guaranteed” admissions for students to a number of the nation’s top colleges, according to Inside Higher Ed—one of the company’s clients was admitted to Boston College.
Although prospective students and families have been unable to traditionally preview Boston College’s campus due to the suspension of all on-campus visits in March, the Office of Undergraduate Admission has worked to provide students with a school visit experience in a new virtual landscape.
The Office of Undergraduate Admission will spend the month of April ensuring that it enrolls the highest quality Class of 2022 and attains its goal yield.
Down two percent from last year, the Office of Admissions received 29,000 total applications for the class of 2020. Last year, BC received 29,486.
