“From what I’ve seen, a lot of people that are dealing with autism, they struggle not only labeling their emotions but navigating the world because the world doesn’t understand them,” Nelson said. “Seeing their faces light up when they have a tool that’s made for them, they feel special and heard.”

“Them renaming it in honor of him and Mr. Floyd is just unbelievable, and I'm glad that he was able to really allow students to experience it, and students are still able to experience it,” Francis-Forrester said.

“I'm not against GPT, I'm not against AI,” Larrey said. “We encourage people to use it, but use it in an intelligent way … not substituting it for your own richness, your own insights, your own growth, because you're gonna need that in the future.”

“What inspired me to write was a growing sense that we were losing sight of the idea that college could be and should be a space for exploration,” Higgins said. “I was starting to see this attitude that was kind of this culture of you're supposed to pick a lane and put on the gas.”

“I didn't expect to stay in Tanzania,” Howe said. “Everywhere you look there’s opportunity, right? There’s just so much that could be done. And so I just fell in love with Tanzania and just all the potential that I saw.”
