Grammy-winning country music group Little Big Town will be the featured artist at the 31st Annual Pops on the Heights gala on Sept. 29.
The group is known for its best-selling single “Girl Crush” and its Grammy-winning single “Better Man,” which was written by Taylor Swift.
The annual event, also known as The Barbara and Jim Cleary Scholarship Gala, raises money that goes toward financial aid for Boston College undergraduate students.
In addition to Little Big Town, Margaret Whyte, MCAS ’25; Andrew Caden, MCAS ’24; the University Chorale; and the BC “Screaming Eagles” Marching Band will perform alongside the Boston Pops Orchestra, led by Keith Lockhart.
Last year’s gala, headlined by Jon Batiste, set the record for the most money raised in Pops on the Heights history, raising more than $14.5 million.
